Wulfie: character design

Here are character development drawings i did at the beginning of the year for a very sympathetic studio based in Ireland. I didn't show my drawings much until now, because the project it was aimed for was still in development.

For the reader who know nothing about the process, it went like this: they contacted me, sent me an overline of the project, a possible script for an episode, and asked me to come up with some concept;
I started with variation on the main character, Libby: older, and younger, with different hair and clothes styles... Then I developped poses for the version they choose, and came up with some concepts illustrating the relation between the girl and Wulfie (the wolf)
I had only three days for this project. I spend the last day drawings some of the secondary characters: the brother, mother, father, teatcher...

It was great fun. And now, the studio, A Man & Ink is really starting the project:
see on their blog: here are my drawings and the final designs Tom came up with and here is the trailer

Winter in Paris, and TV sketches

Friday i went to Montreuil again, and was aid that my work was "not "young adult" enough". That really anoyed me, so when i came back home i did this drawing to get rid of the annoyance feeling. The rest are not-so-old sketches done in front of the TV: an Hercule Poirot episode, and Angels in America
